About this location
The Saatchi Gallery is on the King’s Road in Chelsea, occupying the former Duke of York’s Headquarters — a Georgian military complex converted into contemporary gallery spaces. Gallery 13 is one of the hire spaces within this complex. The Saatchi Gallery’s reputation as a major contemporary art institution gives productions access to a white-box gallery interior with a nationally recognised cultural brand association. The Chelsea location — King’s Road, Sloane Square, the surrounding affluent residential streets — provides a specific London social geography that commercial and drama productions can leverage. For productions requiring a major London art gallery setting at premium rates, the Saatchi is one of the direct options available through managed booking channels. The SW3 postcode is served by Sloane Square Underground station on the District and Circle lines. The gallery’s Georgian military architecture — the Duke of York’s Headquarters façade — provides a formal classical exterior that contrasts with the white-box interior spaces. Booking via Tagvenue; confirm production access, any artwork protection requirements, and facility terms directly with the Saatchi Gallery events team.
